X-Ray & Ultrasound

X-Ray & Ultrasound

Our imaging equipment includes digital radiography (X-ray) and ultrasound. X-ray is ideal for viewing the bones, joints, and chest cavity. We can use it to diagnose broken bones, inflammation of the joints, foreign bodies, and abnormalities of the heart and lungs.

Ultrasound uses sound waves to help our veterinary team view real-time, moving images of the abdominal organs and blood vessels. Cysts, tumors, fluid buildup, and pregnancies can be diagnosed and monitored using this technology. Light sedation may be required for us to perform an ultrasound procedure, as your pet needs to stay very still.

We will let you know if your pet needs to be sedated for any procedures and answer all your questions before proceeding.
